I’ve been trying to organize the information in these quarterly writing journeys for YEARS now. I started Dharma Days as a way to connect people to their creative prowess. The mission was to arouse a desire for real living, to live deliberately and suck the marrow of life - all of that Thoreau business. I want it for myself and I really want it for others.

I’m an introvert who tends to stay small and in the shadows. It’s my nature. It’s my preference. Yet, on some level the world needs me to show up. Playing it small isn’t serving anyone, least of all myself.

For a long time, I’ve wanted to start a GOAL GROUP. A community of support and accountability to take the tiny steps and actions that incite our dreams. Not the fluffy airy dreams of the clouds, but the real grit and grime of a soul goal. The kind of calling that requires enough courage and ferocity to over-come any of our own shadows of self-sabotage.

This last quarter’s writing journey says it’s time to initiate the Life Mandala Goal Group. The idea of this goal group is not to give you one more thing to do or change, it’s about getting you fired up about what you need and want. There are two subtle pathways to consider:

  • Manifesting - external directed actions and intentions. Creating something by doing. The practice of building and fortifying what you want.

  • Femifesting- internal directed actions and intentions. Creating something by being. The practice of clearing away things that are not in alignment with who you are.

Your soul goal may be to start writing that book ( I happen to know many of you are writers.), having an art show, or starting a daily yoga routine. And it could also be bringing more spontaneity into a rigid schedule or saying goodbye to something that you no longer have room for. This is not meant to nudge you in the direction of betterment burnout. Instead it’s an invitation to initiate one thing that you are ready to bring into the world for yourself and others. A chance to support others in the direction of their dreams and be cheered on for yours.

Like most of my work, everything starts as an experiment. Let’s take this next week to see what we can co-create. Let’s start with a head count. Leave a comment in the Life Mandala Goal Group chat to say ...

I'm in!

From there we’ll do quick weekly check-ins in the chat and maybe a quick “Live” or two - to talk about accountability, celebrating milestones, and obstacles along the way.

The Life Mandala Goal group will be designated for paid subscribers in order to create a community container. It will allow for a smaller space to connect and feel a little less public as we explore some of the vulnerability of our soul goals.

I’m leaving the Life Mandala writing journey up for another week or so for anyone who wants to go through the entire process to clarify their soul goal. OR you can do the abridged version below.
