The full printable journal is ready! You can download the pdf- at the bottom.

With a new year hovering, you might feel the pressure to make resolutions and force the sparkling promise of something new. We’re sold transformation—as if it were a commodity we could pick up on aisle six of the grocery store. But we need a source of change that only a catalyst can fuel. (Word nerd alert!) Rooted in the Greek word katalύein, catalyst means “dissolve.”

Dissolution is gradual. The balance is in the decision to reside in the pure knowledge of now. The process comes through receptivity. Allow some time for the imaginal cells. Be in the slurry of the in-between until you feel it’s time for metamorphosis.

It’s the delicate initiation of destruction before creation. I know the word destruction sounds big and scary. We automatically conjure images of the death card in the tarot deck or the image of Kali with her necklace of skulls. It doesn’t need to be so drastic—it doesn’t necessarily mean burning it all down at once.

Is there something ready to be left behind? Is there a belief to unravel? A block to dismantle? Can you dissolve the grip of the past for the sake of the future?

  • What is the dissolution?

  • What is the solution?

  • What is the resolution?

Sometimes our truth is resounding; other times, it needs to be teased out. Be more open to what in you needs to be seen and heard. Without getting lost in a haze of distractions or a maze of choices, what do you know to be true in this moment?

Don’t rush. Rest. Don’t push. Ease. Winter is the invitation to receive. It asks us—to quiet, to still, to be. There are parts of ourselves waiting to heed this calling: an allocation of pure simplicity for no other sake. Slow living—to be drawn into the respite of the deep season.

Sacred Renewal

In the last weekend of the year, allow a little spaciousness. Relax your schedule and your demands. The Sacred Renewal process is all here. You can go through some or all of the inquiries—listen, journal. You could catch the highlights and the meditation in the hour workshop. Give yourself this time.

Download the journal and listen along. You could easily go through the whole process in a couple hours. You deserve some quiet time just for you.

Sweet Solstice! Happy New Year!
