Highlight Reel… 15 minutes or less (And 4 deep dive modules below)

We’re gonna deep dive into this, and I will say it’s a lot. It’s a little bit heady, definitely yoga-nerdy. If you start to listen and it feels overwhelming, it’s okay. Keep listening. Glean the best things, the things that you find the most interesting. It’s taken me 25 years to come to any sense of understanding -- get it, sense of understanding -- of all of this, of all of these concepts, of this philosophy, how it all ties together, my place in this all.

It feeds my wish to share these concepts for, yes, physical wellness, but mostly mental wellness. These are kind of some of the underlying concepts of Ayurvedic psychology. And that is where my interest is, and that is where I continue to study. That is what I aim to teach.

You can take notes, you can revisit, you can, like I said, just take what sounds interesting, and just know every time you come back to this information, you’ll find some new little nuance or nugget to take with you.

I developed this sensory assessment just as a way to gather information. By no means was this sensory assessment in textbooks anywhere. In fact, it is not the full picture. It is meant to give you insight into how your lifestyle choices are working or not working for you.

And with Ayurveda, we generally tend to go in backwards, right? Because it’s what we’re most interested in. There’s this part of ourselves that always wants to get to know ourselves a little more, and we like to see ourselves reflected in other things. So with this, most people who know of Ayurveda, or have studied or taken an intro class, know about the doshas because it describes us.

So it’s very much like the way we love astrology or the way that we’re interested in Myers-Briggs, because it starts to reflect back our personalities to us. And so we can start to understand, with a little more awareness and a little more insight and a little more clarity, how we work as individuals - - how we survive and thrive

What’s your sensory style? What’s your dosha pattern?

  • A Personal Sensory Self-Assessment
Discover how your habits, routines, and behaviors may be bringing an imbalance to the senses and what that reveals about your nervous system and doshic patterns.

  • The Wellness Wheel
Explore the foundational markers of health that support or undermine your long-term wellbeing, with special focus on the senses and intuition.

Below you can print out the full pdf workbook or download the assessment and journal with the inquiries. I’ve broken down the workshop replay into 4 modules that you can go through a little at a time.
